Nordic Coalition on Youth, Peace and Security
The Nordic Coalition brings together active young peacebuilders and organisations working with the youth from around the Nordics to collaborate, learn from each other and advance the Youth, Peace and Security Agenda.
History
The Nordic Coalition was founded as the result of the first ever Nordic Forum on Youth, Peace and Security held in Helsinki, September 2023. The Forum brought together young peacebuilders from the Nordics who agreed that a more long term structure for collaboration was needed.
What we do
The Coalition organizes events and training on the YPS-agenda and hosts working groups specializing in more exact topics related to peacebuilding. It also serves as a platform for forming new collaborations and coordinating joint advocacy on the agenda.
